Books for Moms

January Reads: When Less Becomes More by Emily Ley

Emily Ley spoke to my mama heart in this lovely book about creating slowness and joy in an ever busy, over-scheduled life. Ley, a mother to three children also, runs her own business that aims to simplify lives. Ironically, she finds herself overwhelmed and stressed with the burdens of her job, relationships and family. In today’s world, one must be mindful about what we are spending our time on, especially when we are raising the youngest generation. When Less Becomes More reminds us that a “good” life is actually a perfect life-we just need to let go of the mindset that leaves us wanting more and unsatisfied. This book would be a sweet gift for an expecting mother or a mama in a very busy season of life. Another favorite added to my non-fiction list!
